Sentences

A sentence tells a complete idea.

A sentence begins with a capital letter and ends with a period, question mark, or exclamation mark.

Example: The dog sleeps.

Words & Spelling

Words are made of letters and sounds.

Miss Penelope will say each spelling word slowly. First listen. Next say it. Then write the word or use it in a sentence.
