In this course learners will be able to identify and read short “a”  words through word family and rhyming lessons and activities.   Homeschool parents, teachers, or tutors can use the course for an initial lesson or review lesson for language arts. This is a course intended to be gradually taught via modeling, guided instruction, and independent practice throughout the week or until mastered.

In this course learners will be able to identify and read long o words with the vowel patterns “oa”, “oe” and “ow”.   Parents or teachers can use the course for an initial lesson or review lesson for language arts. This class provides one full week of  identifying and learning the concept of a setting for story elements.  The course includes a separate lesson plan along with option of a guided video lesson from a certified teacher. The lesson will cover a main concept question, guided direction, examples, independent practice, and worksheets.
